College!

Well, college has been great so far. I'm really glad I came up here to BYU-Idaho. It has blessed my life immensely. I read the Book of Mormon every single day, and I pray every single morning and night. I haven't always been the best at either of these things, but I have already seen the changes in my life. The Spirit here is so strong. I love my roommates; they are all so great. I've met numerous people, and I love my teachers. One teacher that has really caught my attention is my Book of Mormon teacher, Brother Astel. He is so very powerful during his lessons and it really gets you thinking about what life is all about. I've noticed that since I've been here in Rexburg, Idaho, I have been contemplating my life and what is most important to me. I'm not sure I would be able to have the experiences I am having now had I stayed at home for college. I recommend to anyone to go out of state for college if you can. It is so worth it. I still miss my family and friends back at home, and I'm not sure how long it'll take til I feel like I'm at home, but I do know that I wouldn't trade this experience for anything.

  3. Aaah, Sam! I knew you would love it. That's how I felt about it. You always miss home but being up there at school makes you really re-examine your life and make new goals.
