BYU-Idaho and Stuff

Well, I'm still here at BYU-I. We've been in the Winter Semester for about a month now. I'm only taking two classes: one online science class and an english night class. The english class is on Monday and Wednesday nights for an hour and a half. I really like these classes, and I've been doing well in both of them. I've got A's, so it is going well. I mean, I better be getting A's considering the fact that I only have these two classes to deal with, right? The job search is dimming. A couple of times, I thought I had a chance at getting a job at different places, but nothing has been working out. It is soooo incredibly difficult to get a job up here in Rexburg. Everyone wants a job, and there just aren't enough to satisfy everyone. So I am out of luck for now. I might just resort to selling plasma for some extra bucks, if I really get desperate, which hasn't happened yet.

Pretty much, life isn't the most exciting right now. It is so freezing outside lately, usually in the single digits or negatives, and the windchill makes it even worse. So my roommates and I have been trying to stay indoors as much as possible. Which doesn't leave a lot of room for anything exciting, really. I get pretty bored a lot of the time, but I've noticed that even though I am not doing much, I am still happy. It's funny how you can be so ridiculously bored and still manage to be happy. I give credit to the Spirit, honestly. Without it, I wouldn't be nearly as happy as I am. I have managed to go down to Utah a couple times in the past month and visit Greg. Last weekend, I got to spend Friday through Sunday with him and his family. That was the best weekend of the semester by far. I had a lot of fun, I always do with them. But, it really makes me miss Greg when I have to leave. I guess that isn't a bad thing, but it is hard.

I'm still more glad than ever that I made the decision to come here to Idaho. It changed my life for the better. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive in my decisions and who has helped me along the way :]

    Keep blogging girl... love to hear about your adventures and especially about how much you are glad with your decision to go to to BYU-I. Thanks for the good tips (didn't know it is so hard to find a job). Why don't you have more classes? Is it hard to get in? Anyways, any pointers will be gladly taken- Kiersten just got accepted to BYU-I and she was asked to room with someone next year. A little nervous (since this is my first kid and because she will barely be 17 because she is graduating early). Miss seeing your beautiful face!

    Hey! Yeah, I can only imagine how you are feeling. Imagine how Kiersten's feeling! The reason I am taking only two classes is because I am off-track. Basically, I am only supposed to go to school for the Fall and Spring semesters here, but I am taking continuing education classes. When Kiersten got accepted to BYU-Idaho, they should've told her what track she was on, whether it be Fall-Winter, Winter-Spring, or Fall-Spring.
