You are courageous and will learn so much from your journey that will allow you to love others more and know how to "succor" them, just as the Savior knows how to succor us because of what he suffered. Whether or not you find a medication that helps you or you learn other ways to strengthen your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, God can and will heal you in his own time and in his own way--I know from experience.Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17460853148981443920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857297997895649586.post-63083902133722657542015-09-10T20:57:36.337-07:002015-09-10T20:57:36.337-07:00What a courageous post. Depression is very real and you're right- no amount of happy thoughts or positive attitude gets rid of it when it is a deep feeling. Those things help to get through it but sometimes-for me anyway- it is literally a physical struggle to fight through when everything in your body tells you to just go to sleep and escape. I know it helps me to acknowledge it, I tell my husband what I'm feeling and he is there to offer encouragement and help me through those times. I find it's worse when I'm not eating right, not getting enough rest or stretching myself too thin. Take care of yourself- all of yourself- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. ***hugs***The Nickell Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12028843394419080309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857297997895649586.post-30269702224202807202015-09-10T18:09:04.999-07:002015-09-10T18:09:04.999-07:00It took a lot of courage to share how you have bee...It took a lot of courage to share how you have been feeling and now that friends know what you've been going through they can be there to help and support you. Our Father in Heaven uses the people around us to help answer our prayers! If you haven't already, I hope you make an appointment to see your doctor to see if medication can help you feel yourself again.
